Peter Vilhelm Carl Kyhn (1819–1903) was a Danish landscape painter who belonged to the generation of National Romantic painters immediately after Denmark's Golden Age and before the breakthrough of modernism. He preferred to make studies on the same subject under different lighting conditions, thereby moving away from the academic style of painting. Many of his landscape motifs are taken from the area around Ry and Silkeborg in East Jutland. For a high quality reproduction we use Art paper in bright white with a matt surface.
