Johan Thomas Lundbye (1818 - 1848) was a Danish 'Golden Age' painter and printmaker, known for his animal and landscape paintings. Along with P. C. Skovgaard and Lorenz Frølich, he became one of the National Romantic painters of his generation, regularly depicting landscape Seelands. He illustrated children's fable books. He died on April 26, 1848, aged 29. For a high-quality reproduction, we use bright white art paper with a matt surface. The art print has been adjusted to the frame size. Frame with passepartout.
