Peter Paul Rubens was one of the most famous baroque painters. Rubens' works are characterized by light and colour. He also devoted himself to mythological objects. He painted many nudes in bright flesh color. Rubens liked to depict natural life and children. Rubens' striving was for the liveliness of the depiction and for coloristic painting, i.e. the design in which the color is given special importance. Rubens left about 1500 pictures, most of which were probably executed by his pupils and only supplemented by him. For a high quality reproduction we use Art paper in bright white with a matt surface.
