Art Movements: Expressionism
Gustave Franciscus De Smet (1877 – 1943) was a Belgian painter and one of the co-founders of Flemish Expressionism. His works were initially gloomy, but also characterized by restlessness and dynamism. Years later, he shed the depressive mood. People, landscapes and urban scenes also appeared more and more, and the image composition took on softer forms. In his last creative phase he created almost realistic paintings. For a high quality reproduction we use Art paper in bright white with a matt surface. The art print is adjusted to the frame size.
