Artist: Gustav Klimt

Art Movements: Art nouveau

Gustav Klimt (1862 - 1918) was an important Austrian painter, the best-known representative of Viennese Art Nouveau and founding president of the Vienna Secession. Klimt's main subject was the female body, and his works are characterized by overt eroticism. His works have often been criticized for being pornographic. Klimt's "Golden Phase" was characterized by positive criticism and financial success. Many of his paintings from this period contained gold leaf. For a high-quality reproduction, we use bright white art paper with a matt surface. The art print has been adjusted to the frame size. Frame with passepartout.
