Artist: Gustave Loiseau

Art Movements: Post-impressionism

Gustave Loiseau (1865 - 1935) was a French Post-Impressionist painter best known for his landscapes and scenes of Parisian streets. His technique, known as treillis or cross-hatching, gave his works a particular quality that is now recognized as his specialty. He often painted people at work: dockers with their boats, villagers or arriving at the market in Pont-Aven, or even carriages in Paris. For a high quality reproduction we use Art paper in bright white with a matt surface. The art print er adjusted to the frame size. Frame with passe-partout.
