Max Liebermann (1847 - 1935) was a German painter and graphic artist of Jewish descent and one of the leading representatives of Impressionism in Germany. His work is symbolic of the transition from 19th-century art to classical modernism at the time of Wilhelminism and the Weimar Republic. His work was part of the painting event in the art competition of the 1928 Summer Olympics. For a high quality reproduction we use Art paper in bright white with a matt surface.
