Edgar Degas (1834–1917) was an outstanding 19th-century artist. His works are characterized by a mixture of realism and impressionistic elements. Degas is particularly well known for his depictions of dancers. He dedicated more than half of his works to this topic. He portrayed people from his own social class as well as women from the lower classes of society. For a high quality reproduction we use Art paper in bright white with a matt surface.
